The International Federation of Coalitions for Cultural Diversity (IFCCD) and the Brazilian Coalition for Cultural Diversity (Coalizão Brasileira pela Diversidade Cultural) are organising the 8th IFCCD Congress in Teresina, Brazil, from 5 to 8 November 2025.
As part of this event, the IFCCD is offering a limited number¹ of participation grants for the IFCCD Congress.
The grant covers transportation to the venue, visa fees, and accommodation for the nights of 5 to 8 November.²
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR GRANTS

Be a member of a national coalition for cultural diversity (from any region of the world);

Be a representative of an organisation affiliated with the IFCCD as an associate member (from any region of the world);

Be up to date with IFCCD membership dues.
APPLICATION PACKAGE
(Applications must be submitted individually and not on behalf of an organisation)

A curriculum vitae;

A motivation letter (maximum two pages), including:
-
Your most relevant professional experience;

Your involvement in the national coalition for cultural diversity and/or in the cultural non-profit sector;

Your motivation to attend the IFCCD Congress (relevance to your work, expected outcomes, and follow-up);

A short document presenting your organisation and summarising its activities, demonstrating its involvement in the cultural sector (short description, latest annual report, publications, website and social media links, related programmes or events, etc.);

A letter of support from your national coalition for cultural diversity or the professional association you represent.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Valid visa for Brazil (or the ability to obtain one): please note that any visa-related expenses must be pre-approved by the IFCCD Secretariat to be eligible for reimbursement. In all cases, supporting documentation will be required for reimbursement.

If you require an invitation letter for visa purposes, please indicate this in your application.

Once obtained, a copy of the visa must be sent to the IFCCD Secretariat.

Geographic diversity (priority will be given to applicants from the Global South);

Gender diversity;

Type of organisation represented;

Experience and community engagement of the applicant;

Mission and achievements of the represented organisation;

Intergenerational representation.
