The PRINCESSE MOMAFON RABIATOU NJOYA FOUNDATION is an association under Cameroonian law created more than 25 years ago. The PMRN Foundation is an NGO accredited by UNESCO to act as an advisory body to the Intergovernmental Committee for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Its main objectives are to promote the influence and popularization of the literary productions of Princess Rabiatou NJOYA and the promotion of Cameroonian culture as a whole, and to contribute, within the limits of its means, to the social development of Cameroon in general. The PMRN FOUNDATION’s main missions are the safeguarding of the Cultural Heritage in Cameroon, the promotion of Cameroonian Culture, the advocacy for the establishment of national lists of Cultural Heritage in Cameroon, the popularization of the UNESCO Conventions at the local, national and international levels, the support of communities, groups and individuals holding knowledge and know-how on the Cultural Heritage, the sensitization of all stakeholders for the safeguarding of the Cultural Heritage namely: the State, civil society, development partners and communities to take into account cultural heritage in their development activities.
