The Nigerien Coalition for Cultural Diversity is a Nigerien civil society organization dedicated to promoting culture and the press in Niger. It brings together about twenty organizations.

Following Niger’s ratification of the UNESCO Convention in 2007, the coalition undertook a tour of the country to raise civil society’s awareness of the issues of cultural diversity.

Since the creation in 2015 of the Ministry of Cultural Renaissance, Arts and Social Modernisation, responsible for making culture a vehicle for change and development in Niger, the Nigerien coalition has been bringing together its member organizations and cultural partners to carry out joint actions under various programmes.

Niger being a very large country, the coalition’s activities are mainly concentrated in Niamey and Zinder.
