Founded on December 12, 2015, following a cultural symposium featuring 27 artistic troupes (which inspired the name Collectif Groupe 1227), the organization positions itself as a platform for reflection, action, and advocacy in support of a more inclusive society—one in which cultural richness is recognized as a driver of development, peace, and social cohesion.
