The Australian Coalition for Cultural Diversity (ACCD) was formed in 2003 to provide a single voice to Government specifically on trade issues. The ACCD includes representatives from across the spectrum of the cultural industries, including music, film, television, book publishing, libraries, dance, multimedia, and visual arts. It has been active in Australian campaigns concerning the US FTA, government support for the arts, the Australian government ratifying the UNESCO convention and the establishment of the National Cultural Policy in Australia.
