Created on 24 February 2007, the Gabonese Coalition for Cultural Diversity is the most important group of cultural actors and practitioners in the country.
Main areas of work of the organization:
- Revitalization of the Gabonese coalition by a registration campaign;
- Follow-up of the file on the status of the artist;
- Negotiation with the authorities for the implementation of the main lines of cultural policy.
In 2017, the coalition participated in the drafting of the status of the artist in the Gabonese Republic with the Ministry of Culture. In 2018, the coalition participated in the training course on “Cultural Management for Strengthening Intercultural Dialogue and its Contribution to the Economy”, organized by the European Union, in partnership with the Ministry of Industry and National Entrepreneurship and the Institut français du Gabon.
